Clinoptilolite is a natural type of Zeolite equipped with a “cage like” structure and high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), making it incredibly efficient in attracting and trapping positively charged ions. These properties enable Zeolite to be used as a beneficial health ingredient when added to some animal feeds. It can also be used as a beneficial aid when used within pollution control and water purification processes; and it has water and nutrient-retaining properties as a turf-care application for use on bowling greens, football pitches and golf courses.
